Virtual Ceremonies are possible even during lock down, keeping you and your family safe whilst celebrating your love.
In the current times, whilst in the middle of a global pandemic, the world is a fraught and frightening place.
Many of us have lost people who are close, or know of people who are lost. But as humans we need hope. We need to look forward.
As a wedding celebrant who is also shielding die to a previous organ transplant, I have been trying to figure out what I can do to help. Therefore like a number of other celebrants, for the next few months, I will be conducting online virtual wedding, renewal of vows and baby naming ceremonies.
The ceremonies will be charged, but at a reduced fee (enquire to find price) compared to my in person ceremonies. Please NOTE ALL fees between now and end of July, will be donated to The British Liver Trust, because liver disease (which isn't all alcohol related) is one of the fastest growing diseases in the world today).
My personal reason for donating to the liver trust is that I have an autoimmune disease called PBC which caused my liver to fail back in 2016, and as a result I underwent liver transplantation. I have seen first hand the amazing work of the Liver Trust, who work tirelessly to raise awareness of liver disease, carry out awareness road shows where testing can take place, and supporting local support groups, amongst many other things.
You can check out the work of the liver trust on their website Here this charity along with many others will be hit hard due to the cessation of all fund raising at this time. And take a little look at my story on the liver trust site.
So this would be a wonderful way to support the charity whilst also having the most memorable day.
Is a virtual ceremony real? Absolutely! The ceremony takes place over zoom, (free for you to download). You can have a small number of friends or family watch the ceremony live, and can record the ceremony to put on your social media for your other friends and family to watch afterwards if you wish to do so.
You can have readings, music and poetry. You can dress up, some couples have used their wedding attire, or you can be casual. it will be a beautiful ceremony.
All you need for this to succeed, is an internet connection and a laptop with webcam or smart phone. You need to download Zoom for free. You can have the ceremony in your garden, or inside.
Once you contact me, we can arrange a date, I will send you a questionnaire the answers of which will help me personalise your ceremony. All you have to do then is let your family and friends know and wait for the day to arrive!
I have limited dates available, and places will be allocated on a first come basis.
Looking forward to talking to you soon. Elizabeth - Anne
It can be quite overwhelming to see so much info in one place. If you want to chat and have me talk you through the options you can ring me on 075526896097
